‘What’s the deal with the dash?’ people ask. You know, the dash in the word photo-grapher that appears on everything from this site to my business cards. The dash, in a way, is my philosophy. My little way of bringing attention to what I pride myself on: Applying art to what I do.
I sweat the details of ‘people-graphy’, ‘motion-graphy’, ‘time-graphy’, ‘object-graphy (the arts of human beings, motion, time and things). This is what I love to do. This is my passion. This is my art.
That’s the ‘dash’ in a nutshell. What it means for my clients is better photo-graphy. Not just a pretty picture. But craft, creativity, details, details, details and a final image that is as unique and resonant as it deserves to be.
